Charlie Shines In Estoril for GT4 Debut

Charlie made an impressive start to his GT4 career at Estoril this past weekend. Competing with Rafa Racing Club by Race Lab in the McLaren Artura GT4.

During testing in the lead-up to the weekend, Charlie quickly adapted to the car, showing competitive pace throughout both of Thursday and Friday’s sessions. His ability behind the wheel quickly positioned him as one of the front runners heading into the weekend.

Qualifying saw Charlie secure third place on the grid for the opening sprint of the weekend. After a slight mistake at the start of the race, which saw him drop back to fifth, he quickly recomposed and fought his way back up to the podium position, and was well on his way to challenging for 2nd before the chequered flag came out.

Securing a podium in his very first race in GT4 is a huge achievement, highlighting Hart’s potential as he continues his journey in GT4 racing. His performance at Estoril serves as a strong foundation for future races, proving that he is more than capable of competing with seasoned drivers in the championship.

Looking ahead, Charlie is set to take on Portimão, a track that holds special significance for him. With his father having raced there numerous times, and extensive practice on his home simulator, Portimão is a circuit where he is hoping for a solid result.
